This set, officially called W517 Strip Cards, was stocked with talent. Even though the set only had 54 cards in all, over 25 of them are Hall of Famers.
Each standard, untrimmed card size is 3″ x 4″. They did produce some mini-cards of this set, with the mini cards being about 60% of the original size.
Babe Ruth and Mickey Cochrane both had 2 cards each in this set.
They did not have anything printed on the back.
Most valuable card from this set: Babe Ruth #20, approx. $2,000 in very good condition.
